| The basic box is built using 3/4" MDF except
for the top and bottom which are 3/4" Baltic Birch. A sub enclosure
houses the
amplifier. |
Once the basic box was built the 3/4" Cherry
covered MDF was added to the sides and top. The bottom got another
3/4" piece of Baltic. Total material thickness all the way
around is 1.5". |
The sub enclosure opening is recessed for flush
mounting of the plate amp. |
Solid Cherry is used in all the corners so it
can be rounded over. |
The inside is filled with a fiber stuffing. |
